Rina under water

Our family vacations back in Indonesia often took us to the sea. As an archipelago country, Indonesia has countless beaches to go to ranging from the most calm and serene to the most turbulent and rocky. It was always a thrill to be by the beach... playing in the sand and swimming like there's no tomorrow. The colorful fish were always nearby, but I never thought much of them except for theI thought that they were really pretty. We had masks that allowed us to see them clearly, but we didn't have snorkels. I guess we were short from doing the proper snorkelling, but it was a lot of fun nevertheless.

Diving in the open sea for the first time brought back so many childhood memories and more. The hesitation was close to none. I felt very comfortable and amazed at being able to breath continuously under the sea for once. What I saw down there, as little as it was at first, was spectacular. To see a world so unfamiliar, so vast, so full of life in its own definition, was such a mesmerizing experience. I was drowning in its wonders. No need to convince me, I was hooked. For a long time I have thought of Tropic Waters, but only after I scuba dived that I actually brought it into reality.
